Tim de Rooij – Short Bio

With a background in corporate finance & enterprise software, Tim can connect technology to business objectives and speak to every type of stakeholder in between.

Since 2025, Tim serves as chief of staff at 5CA, a leading CX solutions provider to the gaming industry. 5CA integrates AI with human agents to elevate the player experience for the world’s most iconic games.

From 2019 to 2024 he led the Professional Services team at AI master data management scale-up Tamr, spanning the US, APAC, and Europe and building high-performing cross-cultural teams.

Prior to Tamr, Tim worked at Deloitte’s corporate finance practice with a focus on Technology M&A and Corporate Venturing Strategy. He started his career at investment banking boutique Keijser Capital, advising medium-sized companies on debt and equity financing.

His work with startups focuses on financial and strategic planning, business strategy and operations. Startups and organisations he has worked with include Pacmed, SingularityU Benelux, Nx’change, RentItems, and he is currently on the advisory board of Lindys.

Tim served as a young member on the Amsterdam Economic Board and worked with social enterprise WOO in The Netherlands and Vietnam.

Tim graduated from Nyenrode Business University with a Master of Science in Financial Management and from Duisenberg School of Finance with a Master of Laws in Finance and Law.
